Stir-Fry PEANUT SHRIMP PORK ©


Satay or sate, is a dish of marinated, skewered and grilled meat, 
served with a spicy peanut sauce dip, or peanut gravy, and 
slivers of onions and cucumbers, and ketupat (rice cakes). 

Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, 
Satay is originated in Java, Indonesia. Satay is also popular in 

beef, pork, fish, other meats or tofu. These are grilled or 
barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with 
various spicy seasonings. 

many other South-east Asian countries, such as Malaysia, 
Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, and southern Philippines.

In this preparation, instead of preparing satay in the 
authentic style by grilling the meat over charcoal fire, and  
then served with spicy peanut gravy, we are going to do a 
stir-fried dish - fresh sliced pork stir-fry in crunchy peanut 
butter and shrimp paste.

Cuisine of Assam originates from a state named Assam in North-East India. It is a style of cooking that is a confluence of cooking habits of the hills that favor fermentation and drying as forms of food preservation. It is probably the most different type of cuisine one would have ever tasted. Cuisine of Assam had spread to South-East Asia a long time ago, and particularly in Malaysia, the Assam cuisine has incorporated into traditional cuisines forming local dishes which were favorites of many. The Malaysian Assam dishes has strong, hot, caustic and biting aroma. This dish is a combination of meat and vegetables cooked in Assam style.
